Haunted Hotel
The Haunted Hotel is one of the most popular attractions in San Diego during the Halloween season. Located in Downtown San Diego, the Haunted Hotel haunts the Gaslamp neighborhood and helps bring in the screams during the scariest season of the year. This attraction literally keeps an EMT on staff each night, just in case the scares get a little too intense for guests. This is a high-impact attraction, packed with outstanding lighting effects, frightening sounds and some of the absolute scariest costumed characters around sure to send a chill down your spine. Be sure to show up early to get spooked and avoid standing in any dangerously long lines. Two new perks are being added for ticket holders this year, which include Scion night and Front of the Line Fridays. Scion drivers will get VIP treatment at both the Haunted Hotel and the Haunted Trail of Balboa Park on Thursday the 28th as they are offered two free tickets for the evening. On Fridays, drivers will be able to flash their keys while purchasing admission and move up to three of their friends to the front of the line. While the park is only open for about a month each year, hours run late to be sure to accommodate each visitor with the appropriate amount of evil and take them on the ride of their lives. Check out their website for a more detailed rundown of the horrors, hours, and, if you are devilishly fast, half priced tickets. Doors open on September 23rd, 2011 so make sure not not miss out!
