Listing Details: The Coronado Playhouse is the Mecca for theatre goers. The theatre holds fantastic productions with a full service bar and catered dinners are available with certain shows. In 2006, the Coronado Playhouse relocated to a new venue right on the water in Downtown Coronado. The new location holds state of the art equipment and has views of Glorietta Bay. The playhouse has one hundred cabaret-style seats. The mission of the playhouse is to provide quality entertainment productions to everyone who desires to be active in the performing arts world. They produce musicals, free Shakespeare plays, dramas, comedies and local original work. Dinners are offered, for an additional charge, every Friday of each showing. The dinner tickets include the meal as well as the show. There are usually six shows during a season and are all listed under their website.
