During the time, Ramona was a very small community in San Diego County, but the Ramona Mainstage theatre brought in a large amount of visitors. The Ramona Mainstage was originally designed to be a “Grand Old Movie Palace.” Currently, the Ramona Mainstage operates as a theatre for live entertainment: music, dance, comedy and celebrity appearances. The theatre also is available for lectures, corporate meetings, religious services and community events. The venue is set up with a large amount of tables and chairs, almost like a restaurant setting, with the main stage at the front of the room. The theatre offers a concession stand and multiple beers on tap for audience goers to enjoy during the performance.
