Listing Details: The Lamb’s Players Theatre is home to resident directors, actors and designers. The lamb’s group has worked together for over twenty years. The theatre specializes in the work of lessesr known artists. The players perform in two different theatres: one in Coronado, as well as another one located in San Diego’s Gaslamp quarter. The theatre located on the island of Coronado maintains a three hundred and fifty seat theatre in the Spreckles Building. The players perform five annual plays during their season which runs from February thru November. December is filled with a separate Christmas themed variety of productions. The lamb’s players enjoy showing their skills simply for the joy of entertaining the audiences. The downtown theatre holds longer running shows. The shows hold as much diversity as the people who perform in them; each year the lamb’s players host musicals, dramas, comedies and world premiers. The theatre also maintains an educational outreach program, where the performers take their show on the road touring to thousands of students in schools throughout the Southwest.
