Listing Details: Readers Theatre embraces the art of storytelling. Readers Theatre opens an environment for artist’s interpreters to understand the connotative power of playwrights and the words that plays are created from. There have been over one hundred Readers Theatre productions held in educational and community levels. The current theatre sponsors workshops every year in cities throughout the world in order to help advance the art of storytelling. The theatrical experience is open to all students; experience is not necessary. The founder of the original institute passed away in 2005 but the institute is still open and is run by trained faculty who desire to continue the founders work. The workshops are held at various locations depending on the city that they are taking place in.
