Skydive San Diego, Inc. is the region's only full-service parachute center. Located on a private airport dedicated to skydiving, they are just 25 minutes away from downtown San Diego. Skydive San Diego, Inc. is a full-service skydiving facility with multiple training buildings, a bunkhouse, deluxe packing lofts, a grass landing area, a BBQ deck and patio and incredible scenery. Unlike some “outfits” that will depart from a public airport and land skydivers and parachuters in a field miles away, requiring a van ride back to the takeoff spot, Skydive San Diego is set up to takeoff and land right in the same place, where skydiver’s friends can watch! Alternately, skydivers can sign up to go with friends, and have the option of skydiving alone or tandem. Skydive San Diego also offers picture and video services; they will document customer’s skydives and parachute jumps upon request and compile CDs and DVDs for skydivers to have as a keepsake of their time in the sky.

Added 05/18/11 Bucket list CHECK!

I think EVERYONE has sky diving on their little bucket list and I can say that I can check this one off! The girls at the front desk are not the most nice of people, but they get the job done. The instructors are incredibly helpful and make you feel at ease about elevating your life above the earth...I thought that I would be so scared, but it was just a fun experience that I have caught on camera AND video! If you're wanting to do this, I really erally recommend this place. I don't regret it and am so happy I did it, probably the most daring thing i've ever done!
