Sharon is at Salon De Marcus 619-239-2887

This is Sharon and I would like to take a moment to let all my clients know that I may not have reach them by phone or email that I have moved to "Salon De Marcus". We all have to move on and try our wings. So I have moved onward and upward to a new and different salon. I like to thank all my friends at Roccos and ask them to stop by and say Hi. As for my clients call me at 619-313-7910 or 619-239-2887 or stop and see me at 2nd st and G right by Ralphs suppermartket. You may park in Horten plaza or out in front of our salon. I look forward to hearing from you.

GOOD SALON

LAST WEEK I CAN SAY I WENT TO A SALON THAT CHOOPED ALL MY HAIR OFF.. I'M MEXICAN AMERICAN AND I HAVE VERY LONG DARK AND THICK HAIR.. THIS LADY CHOPPED IT ALL OFF THINNED IT TO DEATH, STRIPPED WHAT WAS LEFT OF MY HAIR AND ENDED UP LEAVING MY HAIR ORANGE/YELLOW.. THE NEXT DAY I WENT TO ROCCO'S AND WITHIN ONE HOUR MY HAIR WAS WAYYYY BETTER... I WENT IN THERE CRYING LIKE A LITTLE BABY AND THE GUY I THINK HIS NAME IS CHRISTIAN MADE MY DAY ALL BETTER.. HIS BOOTH IS THE FIRST ONE TO THE RIGHT.. THE SALON THAT TOUCHED MY HAIR THE DAY BEFORE LEFT IT ALL DAMAGED AND I TOOK A TREATMENT HOME WITH ME FROM ROCCO'S AND MY HAIR IS DOING MUCH BETTER.. IT'S A LIGHT BROWN NOW AND I'M LETTING IT GROW OUT.. I WILL DEFINITELY BE BACK TO ROCCO'S FOR MY TOUCH UP AND HIGHLIGHTS....

Never again!

I visited soon after moving to downtown San Diego. I sat through an angushing hair cut that was not the best I'd had. The sylist didn't seem to be focusing on me. The real topper was the inappropriate verbal topics between the stylists who ignored the customers while dissing on topics not suitable for public discourse.

a great cut at a great price

I went to Rocco's last week for a haircut and was helped by Sharon. I was very impressed with quality of service that I recived, and the price was very resonable. A haircut, scalp massage and my beard trimed. I will be back keep up the good work

Great place for Hair

I am referring to Rocco's Hair Salon in Horton Plaza, downtown San Diego. I thought my hair was ruined / unfixable but I went into Rocco's after a friend recommended it to me and was more than satisfied. The enviornment of the salon is very pleasing on the eyes. It's fun, upbeat, and all the staff gets an A+ from me on customer service! I had a consultation and the stylist decided he could fix it for me. He didn't even charge me because I had explained the situation and he was fixing a bad haircut I got from a competing salon. I was so happy with my hair - it went from BAD to managable. Unfortunatley I can't remember his name but his station was to your right as you walk thru the door - he was behind the mirror on the right side. Very personable, makes you feel at home, great stylist with awesome ideas. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I went in for a trim. She was great! She asked me what I wanted and delivered. his is one of the best haircuts I have ever had. I wish I could transport her to San Francisco.

HORRIBLE

i went to the one at utc and it is... COMPLETELY HORRIBLE. I read these reviews online so I decided to check it out. I'm a guy and all these reviews assured me my cut would be fine. WRONG. I spent 6+ months growing out my hair and wanted a nice unique style but they "stylist" completely botched the cut and ended up giving me a short girl cut. For a while, it was looking good and I was about to get up but she kept cutting. I think she might have added an extra snip of the scissors accidentally because even though she didn't say anything the look on her face said "OOPS." She then proceeded to to pretend that she did it on purpose because this would look better but she just made the cut worse and worse. It didn't help matters that the so-called "stylist" didn't speak English very well. She didn't understand at all what I told her to do and looked confused the whole time. This might be the worse haircut I have ever gotten in my entire life. As for the other reviews on this site, if you research the author enough, you'll find that it's most probably somebody who works at the place or is friends with the owners. I can't say for girls, but if you are a guy, don't make the same mistake I did. I needed a nice haircut because I was leaving town for a conference the next hour. I had to endure the embarrassing cut the entirety of the conference. When I got back (within the week), they told me I had to pay full price again if I wanted it fixed. Yeah, right. I think I'll take my money elsewhere. DO NOT GO HERE

Two Face Workers

I went into this place because someone had recommended me. When I first walked in I was in awe. The customer service was fairly good but not too professional. So I had sat down for a haircut which turned out okay and was told to sit down to wait for my color to mix. As I sat there, I guess they had forgotten about me and a few customers were in the place. As I sat there, the hairstylists started talking bad about customers who had just left and then started talking about me forgetting I was still sitting there! It got to the point where I was so angry I got up and told them I was still present and told them their customer service was terrible and will tell everyone about it.

GREAT PLACE

This place has great service and excellent people working there, the previous person who typed up the review must have been smoking crack or had bugs crawling out there scalp because I think the Horton Plaza Roco's is amazing!!!!

Heard it all

I've heard stories from ppl who used to work there. Back stabbing employees I hear. Not a very good/professional place I would wanna work in.
