Massage Envy in La Jolla takes massages out of the elite and makes them available to everyone through a monthly membership plan similar to those offered at health clubs. Members can enjoy a massage for $59.00, with each additional massage in the same month costing $39.00.
What really makes the concept stand out is that the price is always the same, regardless of what type of treatment is requested - deep tissue, Reflexology, Sports or Swedish massage. That is a keen benefit as traditional day spas often charge a great deal more for specific types of treatments.
Located at 7650 Girard Avenue, two blocks east of Prospect Avenue on the mezzanine level above Pharmaca, the much-anticipated arrival of Massage Envy is expected to change the spa landscape of La Jolla forever.
