Hyde Edwards Salon and Spa

I read online that Hyde-Edwards was great and the owner gave the best haircuts. I got a haircut that was less good than SuperCuts. And I'm not very picky. Rebecca,the owner, hardly paid any attention to me while she was cutting my hair. She was busy talking to her employees and paying attention to other things. I asked that my bangs be short enough that they fall across my forehead and not just stay on the side of my forehead and merge into the rest of my hair. When Rebecca was done, I didn't like the styling, but often when you wash and restyle your hair, it comes out OK. After restyling my hair, I could tell my bangs were about 1.5 inches too long. So I called the salon to ask to get my bangs re-cut. I was told I'd have to wait a week. A week is a long time to wait if the haircut was $95 and your bangs look really bad. I was also told they had to check to see if it was free or not to re-cut my bangs. I explained I had just had my hair cut and I wanted a redo on the bangs because Rebecca didn't cut them the way I asked, so definitely it should be free. I was finally told, yes the bang cut was 'free' which offended me, since it was a redo, but I still had to wait a week. So I made the appointment, but after the hostility on the phone from the salon, I'm just paying someone else $10 to re-cut my bangs and never setting foot in that salon. There was a lot of attitude at Hyde-Edwards without the requisite skill to cop an attitude of that magnitude.
