I swear this place stays open because it's the only brazilian waxing place in La Jolla. The owner Excelda actually ripped a piece of skin off my friend during a waxing session, and then pretended it never happened! Leave La Jolla for your wax, Brazilia isn't worth $40.

Expensive nightmarish experience.

The other reviews here are funny, because they don't go to the same Brazilia I do. I've been a Brazilia customer for about 4 years. They are great at waxing, they're fast, and their pricing is reasonable. The coupons are great too.
Conclusion
Highly recommended.

If you value your skin, and it's health, avoid this place at all costs! Not only is the service the worst I've EVER experienced anywhere, you'll feel like a number and like you're the one who's causing a burden. The waxing isn't "the best brazilian" to be found, as claimed by the hot-headed owner.

Im from UCSD and ive been getting girly waxes for long enough to know this plave ROCKS!
OK, so youd expect a trip to a waxing salon to be the worst ever right? NOT AT THIS PLACE!
The salon is run by a wonderful mother-daughter team who knows thier stuff like you wouldnt even believe.
I like how the whole process is fast and efficient.
These waxers are all SO experienced so i know ill get a good job no matter who i go to. My favourite is excelda but if i cant make an appointment with her i really dont mind who i get.
The salon is so clean with nice long hours (hello morning waxes anyone?). I also LOVE the products they offer!
Highly recommend.
Conclusion
loyal customer from the first time. Ive never been dissappointed!

Just moved down for LA - was referred to Brazilia from a friend. I had never had a brazilian wax before and was very nervous. I saw Heather who was very nice, she made me feel at ease. The waxing was not even that painful. (my friends scared me) I recently went back to Brazilia and Heather was on vacation, I saw Carrie and got just as good service. I dont know who you guys saw with some of those reviews; however, these 2 girls are legit. I would say 10 stars. Xoxo Christina

Went shopping at UTC mall - never been to Brazilia before. Heard a lot about it. I walked in and they looked so busy. Asked if they accepted walk in's and the lady was so nice and friendly. I got my brows and Brazilian waxed by Heather and she was so great! Such a good job and did'nt even hurt. Brazilia is a must try.

The owner is a bit much, quite full of herself as evidence by the Warhol-like photo of herself on the wall. Never see the same faces working there, it seems the turn over rate for employees must be high. Quit going here because of the abrasive personality of the owner and double dipping, uncleanliness of the place.
Conclusion
Too many other places that are clean and friendly.
