I just moved to the Bird Rock area of La Jolla, and immediately I felt overwhelmed by the selection of hair salons. Although too many salons is never a bad thing, I needed some advice. My neighbor recommend Blue the Salon and I was pretty happy with my first visit. The staff could be friendlier, but their technique is great--so I let it go.
Conclusion

 There are almost too many salons in La Jolla to choose from. I went with Blue. . .

I have been going to Blue for many years. I love the location, the relaxed vibe, and the wonderful staff. Everyone that works there has done my hair and I was happy with all of them. I get compliments wherever I go! Go, and you will, too!

I made an appt. for my mom in law and I inquired about an appt for me and they managed to fit me into their busy schedule and so I will definitely refer people to BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!
Conclusion

 I just moved to Cali from Texas and I am so glad that I found Blue online. It is only 5 minutes away... Everyone was super nice and treated me like I was an old friend.
