Well-Heeled Aveda Salon and Spa
Well-Heeled was San Diego's first gentlemen's salon and spa retreat that rewrote the rules of masculinity in 2007. This 2,650 square foot Mecca of manly sophistication, located in East Village, downtown, brought retro Euro chic to San Diego, as the 19th century European namesake reference shows how high society looked down at a man's shoes to determine his stature. While Well-Heeled offers services and luxury details to help men feel truly pampered, such as straight razor shaves, post-shave show shinning, and expert colors and cuts, Well-Heeled is now catering to the beauty desires of the female sex.
Well-Heeled partnered with Aveda to expand their products and services to fit the needs of both men and women. Now the premier high-end Aveda salon and spa in San Diego, Well-Heeled carries and offers all Aveda lines, products, and services.
The striking European atmosphere and décor, designed by Porsche, the luxury sports car company, first attracted men with a salon edge appropriate for masculine clientele. However, throughout 2007 the continually chic atmosphere kept women peering in the windows, hoping to join their men for a man-i-cure and glass of red wine.
Well-Heeled offers full-service spa treatment rooms for deep muscle massage therapies, face and body de-stressing, a signature barbershop with luxury shave treatments, and manicure and pedicure regimens. The stylish lounge area features digital plasma screens, business and social publications, and serves beer and wine, and signature Aveda tea.
While once a luxury men’s club, Well-Heeled is now officially inviting women in for a taste of the upscale salon and spa world.
