The Victoria Rose Spa sweeps clientele off their modern feet with elegant Victorian antiquity. The unabashedly posh 114-year-old historic building boasts a square grand piano, stained glass showers, a marble whirlpool and various antique adornments. Amid the chaos of the crowded San Diego avenues, this spa is the old-fashioned refuge much needed in the here-and-now. In addition to traditional Swedish, deep tissue and sport massages, Victoria Rose Spa advocates pure pampering. The Pampering Deluxe begins in the marble Roman whirlpool tub gently scented with aromatic oils where a personal therapist massages your neck and shoulders mid-soak. Back on land, the delight continues in Swedish style and cumulates with their original European-lite-touch massage.
