Spa Tiki

I went to Spa Tiki with a friend and we were both very disappointed. We each had one of their signature "ritual" body treatments which is just a glorified massage. We also had a facial, and a pedicure. The massage was "ok" but nothing to write home about and for the money, I was expecting much more. The facial was not good and not even relaxing, and the pedicure was "just ok." All in all, a very mediocre experience.

If you are looking for an escape without paying the price to fly or drive- check out spa tiki! They have a unique exotic/Fiji mood and a friendly staff waiting to pamper you :)

I've been to most spas in San Diego from teeny tiny neighboor hood salons to huge resorts. My experience at Spa Tiki was at the top of the list. My esthetician, Amber was super sweet and super fast. She kept me laughing the entire time and before I knew it we were finished. she also recommended the Figiian Sugar scrub for a few weeks later to avoid ingrowns and it totally worked. Great call Amber! Check out was quick and the girls at the front were super helpful.

My boyfriend set up an entire spa package for me for my birthday and I was so stoked to go.... the place was so cute and tropical but the only problem was that my bf didn't clue into the fact that I'm allergic to nuts so after the 50 minute Tiki-Lada Hydrating Coconut Wrap I went home and had to take a ton of Benadryl because my skin was so swollen! Aside from that bad experience though I'd like to go back one day....obviously skip the coconut products though!
