The ocean views are awe inspiring, the Lodge at Torrey Pines is stunningly built, and the Spa tops it all off. I was overwhelmed by their treatment offers and decided to go in to give my skin a boost and try the European Cleansing facial. I have had this type of treatment in the past but the Spa at torreey pines took it to a whole different level. My therapist listened to my requests and after my treatment my skin was glowing. I also loved spending time in the lavish women's locker room before and after my treatment. The lounge is a whole relaxation experience in itself!
Last week my mom treated my sister and I to water treatments at the Spa at Torrey Pines in San Diego. We were staying at a hotel in Del Mar, but my mom heard great things about the Torrey Pines Spa and wanted to check it out. Seriously, it feels like the most decadent sponge bath you could ever imagine... I got the Balneotherapy treatment and my sister got the Tranquility Milk Bath. We were both so relaxed after our spa day, and my skin has never felt smoother.
I’ve been a big fan of the Torrey Pines Lodge hotel in La Jolla for a few years now, but I just recently tried out the spa. My husband gifted me with a day at the spa for our anniversary, and I can’t say enough of how great the day was. My favorite part of the day was the grape seed tea bath. It seemed so unique I couldn’t pass it up – and, I’m a big wine drinker, so it just seemed right. The antioxidants and grape seed oil left my skin so refreshed and moisturized. I also had the sea mud facial which did wonders for my skin. I will absolutely go back to the spa at Torrey Pines Lodge.
I don't think I could begin to explain how much I love the Spa at Torrey Pines but I'll try.... I come here at least once a month to indulge in a day of pampering. I start off with the Acupressure massage which always leaves me feeling completely energized. Next I treat myself to the FABULOUS monticelli mud wrap. This wrap is great if you have sore or achy muscles and the blend of lemon and ivy smells absolutely heavenly!
