Editorial Review of Spa at Torrey Pines

The Spa at Torrey Pines is located at The Lodge at Torrey Pines. This spa is unique for its emphasis on the coastal-based ingredients that highlight the purity of the ocean with marine-based extracts. Ideal for visitors who want the ultimate pampering experience, The Spa at Torrey Pines also provides residents of San Diego a place to go on a mini-vacation with a number of massage, skin care and water therapies and treatments. The most unique services offered at Torrey Pines are water therapy treatments, a European tradition that involves underwater massage and hydro jets with the proper temperature and pressure to create a relaxing, aquatic experience.

Added 05/19/08 The Spa at torrey pines is the best san diego has to offer!

The ocean views are awe inspiring, the Lodge at Torrey Pines is stunningly built, and the Spa tops it all off. I was overwhelmed by their treatment offers and decided to go in to give my skin a boost and try the European Cleansing facial. I have had this type of treatment in the past but the Spa at torreey pines took it to a whole different level. My therapist listened to my requests and after my treatment my skin was glowing. I also loved spending time in the lavish women's locker room before and after my treatment. The lounge is a whole relaxation experience in itself!

Added 05/19/08 Water treatments at Spa at Torrey Pines

Last week my mom treated my sister and I to water treatments at the Spa at Torrey Pines in San Diego. We were staying at a hotel in Del Mar, but my mom heard great things about the Torrey Pines Spa and wanted to check it out. Seriously, it feels like the most decadent sponge bath you could ever imagine... I got the Balneotherapy treatment and my sister got the Tranquility Milk Bath. We were both so relaxed after our spa day, and my skin has never felt smoother.

Added 04/21/08 My Day at the Spa at Torrey Pines

I’ve been a big fan of the Torrey Pines Lodge hotel in La Jolla for a few years now, but I just recently tried out the spa. My husband gifted me with a day at the spa for our anniversary, and I can’t say enough of how great the day was. My favorite part of the day was the grape seed tea bath. It seemed so unique I couldn’t pass it up – and, I’m a big wine drinker, so it just seemed right. The antioxidants and grape seed oil left my skin so refreshed and moisturized. I also had the sea mud facial which did wonders for my skin. I will absolutely go back to the spa at Torrey Pines Lodge.

Added 02/13/08 The Spa at Torrey Pines is unbelievable!

I don't think I could begin to explain how much I love the Spa at Torrey Pines but I'll try.... I come here at least once a month to indulge in a day of pampering. I start off with the Acupressure massage which always leaves me feeling completely energized. Next I treat myself to the FABULOUS monticelli mud wrap. This wrap is great if you have sore or achy muscles and the blend of lemon and ivy smells absolutely heavenly!
