The Rancho Valencia Resort opened its spa in the summer of 2006, offering an oasis of relaxation among the rolling hills. Ten treatment rooms feature personal gardens, outdoor showers and soaking tubs, and the utmost privacy. Services like the tangerine sea-salt body polish, orange blossom massage, and avocado-grapefruit body hydration sound good enough to eat. Onsite are a steam room with a Vichy shower and state-of-the-art hydrotherapies, a Watsu pool, a fitness center, and three therapeutic pools. Take a break with The Stress Reliever, a packages designed to relax even the most uptight of go-getters. The package includes a reflexology session, a "high achiever" massage, and an aromatherapy facial. The Rancho Relaxation Package consist of a Swedish massage, a European facial, and a lemon and mint foot treatment for stylish perambulation.

Added 05/19/08 the spa at rancho valencia was the perfect spa experience in my backyard

When the spa at Rancho Valencia opened up so close to my home in Rancho Santa Fe, I knew I had to try it...now I am a regular. Tucked away in the Rancho Valencia resort, the spa is a slice of heaven. I go often for massages and the massage rooms each open up to a private courtyard, making it seem as though you are in your own private jungle. The waiting room welcomes you with oversize couches and a blaring fire. I love getting to wear the cute colorful havianna sandals they give you as well as the huge comfortable robes. I make sure to give myself an extra 20 min to relax and read in the waiting room before my massage. It really is the perfect retreat right in my backyard of Rancho Santa Fe.
