L’Auberge Del Mar Spa is nothing like you’ve seen in San Diego. Don’t expect dim lighting, subtle décor or peaceful surrounding shades – L’Auberge introduces a whole new spa concept where guests are encouraged to bask in bright sun-lit spaces energized with sounds and scenes of the ocean. No longer hidden below the resort surface, the new spa is housed in a separate beach cottage on the resort’s south side along 15th Street. Vibrant pops of orange, blue and yellow paint the new spa interior, intermingling with exposed wooden ceilings, retro surfboards, beach lifestyle décor, and eclectic accent walls such as textured lime green waves and a full paradise beach scene. Adjacent to the rest area, an outdoor lounge with a pebble fireplace seats guests in bright orange chairs under the warm sun.
