Editorial Review of
Spa at La Costa Resort
La Costa Resort and Spa recently underwent a $50 million renovation, during which the entire property received a modern facelift, the second head-to-toe makeover since its opening in 1965. Recently recognized as the #1 Resort Spa in Southern California by Spa Magazine, The Spa at La Costa is one of the resort’s most incredible amenities, and is a destination all its own, boasting 28,000 square feet of indoor space and a 15,000-square-foot outdoor courtyard, which is now home to the new Reflexology Path. In addition to fresh design updates, The Spa at La Costa utilized the transformation period to redefine its purpose and to introduce a new, simplified spa menu. Like many other older spas, La Costa had continually changed over the years to add on new treatments, resulting in a lengthy and slightly overwhelming menu. During the renovation, The Spa rediscovered its sense of self and recommitted to local indigenous natural elements, from the resort’s citrus and herb gardens to the tranquil Pacific Ocean.
The new La Costa spa experience invites guests to indulge in regionally inspired signature treatments hand crafted with high grade essential oils, including the Citrus Renewal, Aromatherapy Rain Massage, Bamboo Fusion Massage, Berry Bliss Slimming Wrap, Luminous C to Sea Facial, Restorative Facial, Tea-Tox Trio, and Mediterranean Spa Journey, among others.
