Drybar is a unique “blow dry bar” concept that was created around a very simple idea: No cuts. No color. Just blowouts, for only $35. Owner Alli Webb understands that almost everyone prefers having someone else blow out their hair. Why? It just looks better! She also believes there has to be a better option than paying $60+ at a traditional hair salon, or settling for a less-than-desirable discount chain. But there wasn’t … until Drybar. The short and simple Drybar menu of blowout styles includes the Cosmopolitan (lots of loose curls), the Straight Up (simple and straight), Southern Comfort (big hair with volume), Mai Tai (messy and beachy), Manhattan (sleek and smooth) and the Shirley Temple (for ages 10 and under, just $24). Celebrity-approved posh pampering in a chic atmosphere, for only $35? Maybe it’s just me, but I don’t see a reason to ever do your own hair again. San Diego Drybar is located in Del Mar Highlands Town Center.
