Named for the famous image of the earth taken from outer space during the Apollo 17 mission – the blue marble - an image that shows both the beauty of the planet as well as the inherent fragility of the earth amid the expanse of space – Blue Marble Spa promotes life in harmony with nature by illuminating the natural beauty of the earth and its current need for our immediate care. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Mission Bay at the Hyatt Regency Mission Bay Spa & Marina, Blue Marble sources as much as possible from other green companies and, when it comes to spreading the word about its eco-friendly practices and spa services, uses only recycled paper, eco-friendly cleaning products, offers its treatment menu in digital format, and provides eco-friendly literature for reading and further education. Eleven treatment spaces and a private earth garden are available: four individual treatment rooms, an oversize suite for couples with individual rain showers, a manicure and pedicure lounge, and five outdoor spa cabanas.

Conviently located at the Hyatt in Mission Bay, Blue Marble Spa is definitely a great place to go if you are looking for total relaxation. This spa exudes a mixed feeling of harmony and luxury that I just can't seem to get enough of.
