Although Bergamot Spa & Boutique locally resides in coastal Encinitas, the exotic decor, a fusion of Mediterranean gardens, open-air thatched roof bungalows and Island style spa treatments, creates a truly out-of-this-world (or at least out-of-this-county) experience. This organic retreat illuminates the zen principles of balance and harmony of mind, body, spirit and soul, specializing in therapeutic hot stone massages to the paradisal backdrop of the natural soothing stream and adjacent koi pond. Bergamot also offers facials, waxing, eyelash extensions and Balinese fashion pedicures– complete with hydrating coconut milk, an exfoliating sugar scrub, a Frangipani butter massage and a cleansing foot soak with fresh floating orchids. The operative word here is: Aloha.

I love going to Bergamot Spa because I feel completely refreshed and rejuvenated when I leave. This is the prefect serene retreat with it's calming music, gazebo and koi pond. I am a fan of stone massages so I always indulge in one whenever I come here and although I have never had any of their skin treatments, my friends always rave about them.
