The River is one of Pacific Beach’s larger clothing stores, offering well-known brands like Lucky, Von Dutch and Diesel at reasonable prices, a happy medium between cheap no-names and overpriced designer lines. Surfer casual is the key word, with a little bit of finesse.

The store boasts a decent variety of jeans, jackets, and shirts for both men and woman, and their shoe selection, ranging from Converse to sexy heels, is worth a careful peruse. Accessories, like belts, hats, and scarves are exceptionally enchanting.

I love this store, it is simply amazing, you can find anything and everything in there, it is trendy and super affordable if you don't like to spend more then you can afford. You can find pieces that you won't be able to find anywhere else. the mood of the store is chill and relaxing. A place to deffinitely check out if you are in Pacific Beach.

Really cute store. They have a little bit of everything at very affordable prices ($30+). Men's and Women's shoes, shirts, jackets, jeans, accessories, and more. Go check it out boys and girls!!

Added 08/28/07 The River in Pacific Beach has very hip trends.

The River has the latest styles in jeans and new trends. I would compare it to Kitson in LA, very trendy, diffferent and lots of cool gifts. It is kind of pricey but worth it.
