Pangaea Outpost provides promotions each month. For May, there is a May promotion for Mother’s day, prom, weddings, or graduation. There are nice sandals that are discounted from forty-two dollars to $29.80. There is also a grand opening of beach baby apparel in the outpost in Del Mar. There is a customer loyalty program where if a customer spends more than twenty dollars and fills out a customer loyalty card of nine or more purchases between now and December, customers can win fantastic prizes. The prizes are a Pangaea Outpost Gift certificate for either two hundred fifty dollars or five hundred dollars. The third fantastic prize is a Caribbean cruise for two! Three customer loyalty cards will be drawn at random on December 31st, 2011. Pangaea Outpost has eclectic merchants ranging from “Absolute Chic” to “Dog Park,” “Eye of Buddha,” “Natural Selection,” and more. There are over seventy merchants. You can become a merchant by providing inventory and designing finishes for your own space. Merchants are responsible for a base rent and fourteen percent commission charged on each sale. Spaces range from a hundred dollars to three thousand dollars per month depending on the size and location within the marketplace. Pangaea Outpost has a certain return policy of refunds within seven days of purchase with the original sales receipt. Exchanges are acceptable within fourteen days with the original receipt. However, all sale items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
