Lawrence Poon is a third-generation jeweler who always considers himself an artist first. Back in Hong Kong, Poon's grandfather and father were jewelry manufacturers. When Poon first moved to America almost two decades ago, he first earned a degree in architecture, and has since returned to jewelry in opening his Designer Fine Jewelry showroom in La Jolla. A natural born expert, Poon has seen the jewelry industry change significantly over the years, and he strives to reinstate the art and passion. He sees a higher purpose in his designs and he takes pride in custom making unique pieces for clients with his whole heart.
