I just moved here from Oregon a couple months back and was sad to see everyone at school shopping at the same brand-name stores. My friend took me out on a trip to Encinitas to show me around town and she took me to HOME, which is basically my new favorite store. From vintage cub scout t-shirts from the 70's to fresh summer dresses...they have it all. They also have a small stock of used boots that worn down to the perfect scuffy-ness if you know what I mean. The little store is filled with great finds (the men's flannel selection is quite impressive)...I could just spend all day in there playing dress up.
