5 and A Dime is the shopping destination for the hyper-hip male living in the urban jungle that is San Diego. The recently reopened boutique is bigger and better at its new home in the East Village on 8th Avenue.
Upon walking into the store, you may feel as if you’ve somehow wandered into Pharell’s closet. The street-wear selection is one of the most complete in San Diego and features brands like Freshjive, Rogue Status, and TBG. Besides clothing, browse through the funky shoe and Japanese-inspired toy collection before heading to the register where you will be greeted by a giant buffalo staring down at you from his perch on the wall.

It's amazing that they carry the hundreds here. I wouldn't think the hundreds sold wholesale. I usually stay away from the whole urban hype, but 5 & a dime is pretty nice. They carry crooks and castles which is pretty sick, and they also have Hellz bellz which is awesome. Price is reasonable. Can't find parking sometimes.
