Coast Hwy Traders
Enter the doors of Coast Hwy Traders and you will find a delightful chock full world bazaar. The store’s philosophy is for people to have fun when they shop. The staff love their jobs and enjoy interaction with customers. All employees are multi-lingual and among them they speak French, Spanish, Dutch, Italian and even a little bit of Russian. They carry items from Mexico, India and Bali and other merchandise personally hand selected from all over the world. They carry beautiful hand carved wood carvings from Bali, folk art from Mexico, Grand Master Pottery from Tonala and curtains, bedspreads, pillows and statues from India. Whether it is props for belly dancing, shells, sunglasses or hats Coast Hwy Traders will have what you’re looking for. They also have a fantastic selection of Day of the Dead merchandise. People from TJ often cross the border to shop at this store because of its authenticity and great selection of items. It employs the concept of bringing together Vendors and Artisans under one roof. They partner and work with various local artists and self taught artists who bring items such as prints, paintings, jewelry, wire art and recycled art. Coast Hwy Traders eliminate the middle man and are thus able to keep their prices low. To have a different experience and to be able to “shop outside of the box,” come any day and anytime between 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
