Editorial Review of American Apparel

Although American Apparel lacks independent brands, the store’s own branding is bold, relentless, and undeniably intriguing. The company sells the most basic of basics: tee-shirts and tank tops of every cut and color, simple swimsuits, gym shorts, sports bras, sweatshirts, socks, dresses, and even baby and dog clothes.

The clothing bears no logos, no embellishments, and yet it sells itself as a necessary foundation for a fashionable wardrobe. Although the owner is Canadian, American Apparel stays true to its title by only manufacturing clothes in the United States, socially-conscious and sweatshop-free.

American Apparel is the coolest store if your style is simple and colorful. If you want really comfortable clothes to lounge, work out or just for everyday this store is great. There is a huge variety of styles and shapes. Cute loungy dresses, sweatpants and comfy shorts. If you're in Pacific Beach and want to pick up something to wear go to American Apparel.

I really like American Apparel. Their items are all so simple and can go with ANY outfit. I really enjoy shopping here because their selection is so different than anywhere else. Even though a t-shirt could be found "anywhere" the ones here are better. Their color selection is phenomenal and their options are endless.
