Great food

ProsDelicious and juicy steaks, mouth watering dessertsConsa bit noisy and darkConclusionA great place to enjoy good ol' American steak.

As expected the steaks at this place was great, but you gotta try the nice and tender filet too. There are a plethora of other dishes available, but I kinda stuck it out with its specialty. In any case, the lava cake was unbelievably scrumptious you shouldn’t miss it. The place is a bit noisy and dark though, but I don’t really mind.

I suppose by specialty you were referring to the filet. I have to say I really enjoy the atmosphere at Morton's steakhouse in the Gaslamp Quarter but even that is surpassed by the quality if the meat. Morton's never fails me.

Downtown San Diego Mortons Steakhouse

Prosincredible steaks, seafood is good too (lobster), good serviceConsthe decor is masculine, but personally I like thatConclusionOne of my favs although I love more than one steakhouse in San Diego.

Love it. From the decor to the presentation of the uncooked meats, and seafood. Also, they have (or at least did awhile ago) an awesome happy hour with great prices on martini's and gratis fillet mignon sliders. Delicious!

Mortons Steakhouse--a well-done dinner

Mortons is my new favorite steakshouse. Everything from their customer service to the food quality is excellent. For those opting to stay away from red meat, the Shrimp Alexander is terrific, and if you're into oysters on the half shell--have them, they're wonderful. One item that is an absolute is their chocolate lava cake. Make sure you order it with your meal because it takes a while to bake to perfection. It is a sinful chocolate treat!
