Yu Me Ya Sake House is a top choice for authentic and affordable Japanese cuisine in North County San Diego. There are three important factors to note. First, sushi is not served - Yu Me Ya specializes in Japanese style tapas, so make sure to order a few small plates to share (The tapas style menu is moderately priced for the quality of the cuisine). Second, this is a tiny restaurant and reservations are highly recommended. And lastly, Yu Me Ya is a sake bar – so don’t even think about ordering anything besides sweet sake when dining here.
