Added 11/10/07 The food is terrible

I went to Visions with a party of 12. I ordered the calamari as an appetizer to be shared. It was horrible. It wasn't hot and I don't think it was fresh. I had to send it back to be reheated and it wasn't much hotter the second time. I ordered the "mixed grill" as an entree. It was an incredible mess! Two seperate sauces dividing the plate with a combination of chicken, steak shrimp and mashed potatoes in the middle. It too wasn't very hot-- just warm. It couldn't even eat the chicken .It was so bad This entree was $30 and deifinitely not even close to worth the price. I think visions need to get a better focus on creating better food and a more sophisticated menu if they want to compete in the Gaslamp.
