Vanoos Grillette
Inspired by their smiley toddler daughter Vanessa (nicknamed Vanoos) who can be caught joining her parents at their new restaurant, the owners of the Grillette are serving up something new to the PB crowd. They boast their shop as “the home of homemade food,” where guests can find authentic Mediterranean bites, hot sandwiches, fresh wraps and massive deli subs. Start with: Hummus made from chickpeas, tahini and lemon juice, served with grilled pita; or more authentic KibbehBalls, fried crushed wheat germ (bulgur) stuffed with ground beef and onion. Local favorites include the Big Bang sandwich with BBQ chicken, bacon, melted mozzarella on Italian hero; Grilled Reuben with corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss, Russian dressing on rye bread; a Greek Wrap with lemon grilled chicken, feta cheese, black olives, roman lettuce, tomato and onion with cucumber sauce; or the Kabob Wrap, featuring a mixture of ground lamb and beef with onions, fresh parsley and special blend of Mediterranean spiced served with hummus, tabuli and tahini sauce.
