Twenty 20 Grill and Wine Bar

SO excited to finally have a great brunch in Carlsbad! The wife and I had a wonderful time at their "Sparkling Sunday" bruch!!! Great music and a great view. we spent three hours kicked back drinking bubbly and munching on their small plates. I think we might make this an every sunday kinda thing.

My wife and I went this past week for our anniversary. The location is nice because it's up on a hill and you get a nice view of the sunset. For appetizers we got the ciabatta and fried rock shrimp. They were both very good. We also enjoyed a nice Malbec. For our entrees: Short braised ribs and Lobster w/ Risotto. Both entrees were bland and completely tasteless. The meat on the ribs was very fatty and it wasn't even covered in a sauce or anything. The Lobster was also bland and not fresh. We hoped that dessert could salvage the meal. But they don't offer any real desserts. The waitress brought us a dessert tree and allowed us to choose sample sized cups of gelato and/or mousse. Needless to say, we were very disappointed and will not likely return. Our bill ($130) was also very high for the quality of food we received.
