Although their claim to fame is the smoothie, don't pigeon-hole the Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Among the dozens of smoothies they make to order, this Point Loma cafe also boasts a wide variety of sandwiches, salads and soups, and a breakfast menu to boot. Tropical Smoothie Cafe offers the expected fruit smoothie but also features a laundry list of unique smoothies including a Peanut Butter Cup and Beach Bum Chocolate smoothie. Even if Tropical Smoothie Cafe is a franchise spreading across the United States, there is nothing unoriginal about Liberty Station's resident smoothie cafe.
