New in all things sweet and sugary comes Towne Bakery, opening doors in Del Mar Highlands this month. Jason Sigala is making the classic 1940’s cool again with vintage get-ups and pastel colors completing the atmosphere of a truly retro bakery. Home to high quality, homemade American desserts, the Towne Bakery will be a hot commodity when it comes to delectable cakes, pies, cupcakes, cheesecakes, cookies and other specialty items. Everything will be made from scratch, and sweet-tooths can rejoice over the variety of treats, including specially flavored puddings. Guests can expect a solid cup o’ Joe to go along with their indulgence, arriving from Stumptown Coffee Roasters. Kids of all ages will have a special viewing area to watch the decorating process live in action. Towne Bakery will be located at 12925 El Camino Real, Suite AA5 in Del Mar Highlands Town Center, adding on to the development that currently includes Burlap, Cinepolis, and Urban Plates.
