Editorial Review of The Spot

The up-and-coming dining scene in San Diego leaves locals and visitors with unlimited restaurant options for a night on the town. However, one spot simplifies dining out in San Diego. The Spot is one of the most popular spots to eat, drink, and lounge in La Jolla. The diverse menu offers premium steak, fresh fish, and true Chicago-style pizza. The full-service tavern-like bar scene also has a lot to offer. Pair a beer with your pepperoni, or a nice glass of red wine to accent your filet. Located in the beautiful La Jolla Cove, The Spot is always a perfect spot to choose.

Added 05/25/07 Great food

This place has got some really awesome food. The huge appetizer combo plate alone, which has mushrooms, zucchini, onion rings, is more than enough to perk up your appetite. Try the French onion soup, the garbage burger and the pizza. Its staff is very friendly, and the place’s ambiance is pretty casual. The fireplace is a particularly nice touch. It’s a bit dark, and the floor is kinda sticky though.
