The new San Diego Tender Greens took the simple combo concept of a soup, salad, and sandwich café and created an amazing eco-friendly restaurant that uses locally grown produce, humanely raised meats, and non-toxic cleaners. In short, Tender Greens is a place where great food and “green living” mesh beautifully. Their Chinese Chicken Salad is the perfect combination of colorful greens from Oxnard's Scarborough Farms and flavorful chicken breast while their Roasted Roma Tomato Bread “comfort soup,” is a tantalizing treat, complete with fresh Roma tomatoes and basil. Tender Greens has a cult following in Los Angeles and health-conscious San Diego has quickly embraced their commitment to sustainability (even the shirts are made of organic cotton) and fresh products (fish from the neighboring Pacific Beach). Check out this LA fad now thriving in Point Loma, Tender Greens.

Overall Rating:
My family has always enjoyed Tender Greens in the past. Had a guests and decided to get it to go. The food was horrible, the orders were mixed up and our grilled vegetables never made it home. When I called to let the manager know, Peter, how dissapointed we were, he merely said he was sorry. Had nothing more to say. Apathetic. Lacking in customer service and people shills.
Conclusion

 Typically a good value, fresh healthy food. Tonight, however was very very disssapointing and embarrassing to our guests.
