TABU Sushi Lounge
With two locations in Rancho San Diego and Del Mar, the third local installment of Tabu sushi bar is now open in La Jolla. Owner Andy Sliuman teamed up with Pablo Aguilar, whose background includes V.I.P services for the Ivy Hotel, to make the La Jolla location a swankier and sexier space by integrating fresh fare with some edgy nightlife elements. Featuring innovative sushi rolls such as the Stevo Roll, shrimp tempura, avocado, cream cheese, spicy tuna, sliced jalapeno and eel sauce, and the Pizza Roll, spicy crab, avocado, cream cheese and topped with baked dynamite sauce. The new ultra-lounge also featured fruit-infused sake pairings, innovative Japanese fusion entrees, crafty cocktails and all the perks of superior bottle service.
