Suzuya Japanese BBQ
With a vision to bring Japan's popular eating style to San Diego, Ichiro and Miyoung Sakai opened Suzuya Japanese BBQ. This restaurant is perfect a lunch, dinner, or sushi date, as service is known to be top-notch, and it has a warm and friendly atmosphere.
The owners applied the cooking concept of the Korean BBQ except with Japanees-style food, so guests are able to cook their own food on a grill placed at each table, making the dining experience communally fun. Its dishes and Nebraskan meat are some of the reasons this restaurant has become a local favorite. Check out its Filet Mignon Skewers ($9.95), Sesame Chicken ($7.50), fried rice or various udon noodle dishes. Wash it down with beer, wine, tea, juice or sake.
Open every day except for Tuesdays for lunch and dinner, call 858.505.0611 for reservations or takeout.
