Once upon a time, sushi was only for the brave and the loaded.  Not anymore – Sushi Deli has changed the face of San Diego sushi, making it ridiculously affordable, easily order-able, and of course, enjoyable. With Sushi Deli One now in Hillcrest, Sushi Deli Too takes over the Downtown responsibilities. Both locations offer happy hour specials, cheap sushi, and friendly service, but neither take reservations, so be prepared for a substantial wait.

Comfortable setting, good service, and decent prices.

Can get cramped at times, sometimes have to wait for a table.

Overall Rating:
Went there with a couple of co-workers for lunch and had a great time. I'm not big on sushi, but they had a beef yakisoba that was just right. We all drank a couple of Heinekens and went back to work pretty ripped. Their edamame was the perfect appetizer.
Conclusion

 Sushi Deli is a perfect little spot for long lunches with friends.
