Editorial Review of South Beach Bar and Grill

Located right next to the pier in Ocean Beach, South Beach Bar and Grill is the way to go for seafood and spirits. A quaint little spot, just minutes away from the pounding surf, the dining area can be more cozy than comfortable at times. However, the lack of elbow room is forgivable when it comes to their menu. Serving the tastiest tacos San Diego has to offer, South Beach is known for low prices and high quality. Their famed chicken and fish tacos are world renowned. Shrimp Stuffed Jalapeno Poppers and grilled mahi are also popular items. 

 

Seating is available at the bar, offering a spectacular view of the ocean to go along with your ale. However, it’s finding seating that seems to be a problem. While a bona fide gem of San Diego’s restaurants, South Beach is in no way a hidden treasure. 

Come early and come often. South Beach is one scene you won’t want to pass up.

The Fish Tacos are some of the best around....I've only been a couple of times and the place has been packed everytime. service was kind of iffy but i think she was new overall great place to get fish tacos and beer.
