Formerly Liar’s Club, a dim dive bar with just-off-the-beach attitude, this petite spot on Mission Blvd. has completely transformed into an unapologetically hip lifestyle venue now home to fine dining, cheap drinks, no dress code, and signature hot waitresses rocking little more than vibrant blue bikinis. As soon as you walk into the open-air restaurant and bar, you’ll absorb graffiti art graphics, tagged skateboards, and a custom soundtrack made just for the joint by a member of Anberlin. Whether you choose the outdoor deck tables, indoor lounge area or bar table top seating, you’re sure to meet new friends from every walk of life.A mirror of lifestyle in Mission Beach, Sneak Joint is now a second home to local surfers and college partiers straight from the beach, young professionals escaping the office for lunch or post-work happy hour, industry locals looking for a late night dining spot. There is a rotating list of daily food specials available individually or sized to share among a group of friends. I love this place because of its location. It's right next to Mission beach and I usually come here after a day at the beach. It's a great hanout spot.

Added 07/26/09 Great Place for food and cocktails

This place is relaxed with a great menu created by a great chef. Menu items include such things as Tapas to fish tacos (excellent!). Great place to get together with friends for drinks and food. I highly recommend trying the Sneak Joint.
