For a romantic dining experience quintessential of classic San Diego lifestyle, visit the Hotel del Coronado. Sheerwater is the Hotel del Coronado’s refined, yet casual oceanfront restaurant, featuring an expansive outdoor dining terrace, giant fireplaces, and a stunning view into the sea.  Sheerwater's "Fish by the Sea" menu features classic bistro-style cuisine with a focus on fresh and sustainable seafood. In addition, the menu also offers a variety of meat and vegetarian options, and a special children’s menu. When dining at Sheerwater for dinner, we recommend the Pepper Crusted Ahi Tuna with citrus fennel butter, served with roasted butternut squash, wild mushrooms and bloomsdale spinach; or the Duet of Honey Mustard Crusted Rack of Lamb and Braised Lamb Shank, served with celery root puree. But don’t forget to order a side of Lobster Mac & Cheese with brandy truffle cream and pancetta. Sheerwater serves breakfast, lunch, cocktails, and dinner daily.
