Award-wining Seau’s is San Diego’s favorite sports-themed restaurant for many reasons. Boasting 14,500 square feet of sporty space under thirty-foot ceilings, Seau’s offers plenty of room for sports-lovers to play. Former San Diego Chargers and Miami Dolphins linebacker Junior Seau knew what he was doing when he opened the place. An incredibly sixty televisions, including a giant twelve by fourteen-foot projection screen, showcase game after game.

Dining is an attraction all of its own, and the menu spans multiple nations. Japan is represented by an entire sushi bar. The grilled jerk chicken is dished out with Caribbean flair. The seafood gumbo is distinctly southern, while the southwestern meatloaf is even better than Grandma’s. And of course, the bar offers plenty of action.

Overall Rating:
Seau's the Restaurant appears to be the perfect place to watch sports and eat in San Diego. Seau made his career in San Diego and has been a defensive all-star for almost the entirety of his career. There is no way a local star would ruin that repuation by opening a shoddy restaurant. Shoddy...this place is not. Seau's is packed with monitors everywhere so you will never miss a highlight. I heard that the waitresses are dressed up as Charger girls. Don't you believe it. The servers are not cheerleaders, but they are still charming and do a fine job.
Conclusion

Seau's does not really stand out compared to other sports bars when it comes to its food quality. However, with the big name attached to it and its location at a local mall, you are sure to fine a good crowd here for plain ol dinners or during sporting events.
