Sabuku Sushi
Filet Mignon all up in your sushi roll? Why not? How about some Hickory Smoked Bacon taking up the space between grains of rice? Have at it. Sabuku Sushi calls upon these eclectic ingredients not typical to show up at our local sushi joints, and makes a masterpiece. This food-forward, ingenious thinking (the kind of dish that makes you say “why didn’t I think of that?”) is devoted to serious new ways to look at sushi. What’s more is Sabuku believes that all diners should know the person behind their meal. Each order taken will be by one of the sushi chefs themselves, individualized to accommodate all personal preferences.
Not to fret if you’ve got a hankering for some of the basic sushi tastes. Common hand rolls can be found at Sabuku, including Spicy Tuna Rolls, California Rolls, and Spicy Crab Rolls. But it’s the many original creations that really show off the passion of the chefs. Popular choices include the Chicken Teriyaki Roll made with Chicken Teriyaki, Red Onion, and Pineapple on the inside, and Sweet Mandarin Sauce and Spicy Ginger Aoli on the outside. The Bacon & Scallop Roll packs in the Bacon with Pan Seared Scallops and Red Onion, Sweet Mandarin Sauce and Spicy Ginger Aoli. Or try the Kaboom Roll, filled on the inside with Seared Filet Mignon, Chicken Teriyaki, Grilled Red Onion and Zucchini, with Glazed Shrimp on the outside and topped off with Sweet Mandarin Sauce.
