This trendy house of Hawaiian fusion will blow your mind after just one taste of the luscious, posh cuisine. Start off with a Hazelnut Cappuccino Martini, made with Navan, Starbucks Coffee Liqueur and Frangelico shaken and poured into a swirl of chocolate.
Then get busy with the appetizers! Start with the Roy’s Canoe Appetizer, made with shrimp sticks, Szechwan Baby Back Ribs, Island Ahi Poke, Pork and Shrimp Lumpia, edamame, and crisp seafood pot stickers. (Choices change daily)
Move on to a plate of Yellow Fin Ahi Poketini, made with wasabi aioli, avocado and tobiko caviar, or luscious dish of Roy’s Classic Roasted Macadamia Nut Mahi Mahi, cooked in a lobster butter sauce.
Whatever the choice is, you’ll find it appealing at Roy’s!
I have dined at Roy's La Jolla on several occasions and have not had a bad meal there. In fact each time I've eaten dinner there the food and service have been impeccable along with the wine list. The last time I was there I was seated by the window with my date and there was a full moon and the Tiki torches burning outside the perimeter of the dining room combined with the dim lighting in the restaurant made for a very romantic setting! I had the Tiger Shrimp Dynamite with crab and it was scrumptuous!
Dinner at Roy's in La Jolla was great but the only thing that was bad are the front lady workers. Just because i look young they think i dont have enough money by showing me and my girlfriend the menu and asking if were sure if we want to eat there because of the price. other that the service was great its just the front door ladies.
