Don’t let the pessimistic name scare you, with locations both in La Jolla and downtown, Rock Bottom is a great place to say bottoms up!
With insane happy hour deals and late night specials, Rock Bottom does its best to tempt you will little nibbles that fill you up big, like the Titan Toothpicks (chicken and cheese rolled up in fried tortillas ) and the Brewery Nachos (vegetarian refried beans, cheese, tomatoes, onions, and jalapenos).
Try to leave room for the entrees, where you can choose from pasta and salads, burgers and sandwiches, steaks and ribs, and everything in between.
Special Mention: Join Rock Bottom’s Mug Club and pay pint price for a mug, in addition to receiving reward points for every visit you make and for every pint you drink.
The bathroom was so disgustingly filthy - wet paper all over the floors and counter tops, trash can overflowing with bacteria ridden trash, each stall filthier than the next! And this is what the public sees - wonder what the kitchen looks like?
