The Restaurant at The W Hotel has been completely revamped to offer a refreshing dining experience, boasting indoor and outdoor seating and a swanky yet accessible lounge atmosphere. Opt for the shimmering gold booths surrounded by oversized vintage mirrors and rotating art displays. Or, head outside for street-side dining on a spacious heated patio overlooking downtown San Diego’s pristine Colombia District. No matter where you sit, you have to start with the Hamachi Sashimi – a light dish with three different types of citrus, radish, tobiko caviar, and petite red shiso leaves.

If you’ve had the pleasure to meet The Restaurant's new Executive Chef John Garcia, you’d know that his passion for food and excitement for the craft is what makes him stand out as one of San Diego’s finest chefs. In simple terms, he has fun with his food, and in turn, he gifts all guests with an incredibly fun dining experience. John Garcia brings his signature fresh and simple farm-driven culinary style to this downtown dining hot spot.

This is one of the few places into the rare, but delicious, Asian Fusion scene. The food here is spectacular and makes for an impressive night out. Round out your tastebuds in the best way possible.
