Princess Pub & Grille
The Princess Pub & Grille is over two decades old and still going strong. Popular with locals, visitors, and even foreigners, as the air is often peppered with English accents, it’s difficult to find pub fare as authentic and delicious. This is the place to try something truly English without ever boarding a plane, like Bangers and Mash (sausages and mashed potatoes), Cornish Pastie (cube steak and veggies in a pastry), or Cottage Pie (beef topped with mashed potatoes and cheese). If you’re less daring, the kitchen also prepares some much more American fare, like Gardenburgers, roast beef, and grilled calamari steak sandwiches. One way or another, it’s compulsory to wash each bite down with a swig of British ale. Have a couple hefty mugs, and you’ll develop an English accent, too.
