Prego
Enter the stylish Prego Ristorante in Mission Valley and you seem to be entering a Tuscan villa, complete with the scent of fresh tomatoes and red wine endlessly flowing. While the menu includes every Americanized Italian favorite like spaghetti and ravioli, many choices are much more sophisticated. There are no family-sized, Buca di Beppo portions here. Instead, be prepared for bouquets of complex flavors, and innovative combinations, like portobella goat cheese pizza, duck breast salad, sausage with polenta, and mesquite-grilled filet mignon. A number of spaces are available for group rental, from the enclosed Medici Room to the heated garden patios. Various, predetermines dinner menus are also available to streamline large events.
